Sociology
Students will study social behavior as it pertains to the justice system. They will analyze social behavior and study its origins, development, organization, and institutions in order to develop a body of knowledge about social order, social disorder, and social change.
Courtroom Support, Paralegal Studies, and Public Administration
Learners will explore the spectrum of justice careers and participate in presentations given by a variety of support professionals.
Political Science
Learners will explore social science as a discipline concerned with the study of the state, nation, government, and politics and policies of government throughout history to the present. Political science intersects with other fields; including economics, law, sociology, history, anthropology, public administration, public policy, national politics, international relations, comparative politics, psychology, political organization, and political theory.
Law Enforcement
Magnet students will work with local, state, and national law enforcement agencies to explore career opportunities in the justice system.
